By registering as a mushing.ca member, you automatically receive membership in Mushing Canada. There is no charge for Mushing Canada memberships at this time. Our short term plan is to simply gather no-fee memberships online in order to enumerate and acquire contact information for Canadian mushers. Our longer term plan is to transition to a membership model that requires individuals to belong to regional organizations and for those regional organizations to form the membership of Mushing Canada. In the meantime it is very important for us to enumerate and be able to communicate with Canadian mushers. This will be immensely helpful, for instance, if we are to apply for grant money or to have a collective voice on political matters affecting mushers. Your contact information is extremely valuable in this regard and is to be used no differently than would be the case with any other club or organization you belong to. Under no circumstances will your personal information be released for comercial purposes and your phone number, email address, and street number will never be made public on the Mushing Canada website.
