Selection Process for 2011 World Championships

Maple leaf and person iconsWith this release, Mushing Canada is announcing the selection process for Canadian mushers to compete at the 2011 International Federation of Sleddog Sports (IFSS) World Championships in Norway.  It is urgent that mushers wishing to qualify take note and plan accordingly for their upcoming 2010 race season.

Federal Gov commits $25 million to trails

Team Canada logoThe Canadian government has committed $25 million to improving Canada's trail network.  Part of the government's economic stimulus package, the program is designed to promote "healthy living activities like cross-country skiing, running, walking, hiking and riding".

Saguenay, QC to host 2009 World Dryland Championships

IFSS LogoSaguenay City has won their bid to host the 2009 IFSS World Dryland Championships at the Bec-Scie Outdoor Centre (Le Centre Plein Air Bec-Scie) in the municipality of La Baie. The event will take place from October 28th through November 1, 2009.
